My wife Hannah, told me years ago she had a reoccurring dream that we were drowning together. I believe that the Trump presidency, this Pandemic, and the events of January 6th, 2021 were the water.
lyrics
We took a right to the moon
Appears we'll be there soon
You fell asleep up in the back
Is your memory still in tact?
So maybe try try to hide
Away your heavy eyes
When counting every blade of grass
A call into the past
She said "I'm drowning, in my dream
And it feels real to me."
Drowning, just a dream
We look to make a better move
And drive in droves we do
I think the light will see us through
We looked at night for the ruins
My dear my dear where to?
To stay awake out in the dark
As your sense split apart
So maybe lie lie lie
Down and close your eyes
Your won't forget with all (the thought) that passed
Still I count my blades of grass
